After three days in Palo Alto we moved from the Westin to the Park Central SF:
Chose the hotel because of the location and it's demotion in SPG category, making it 24k SPG points for our 2 nights' stay as opposed to 40k previously. For our dates it would have cost USD300/night so I thought it was a good deal.

The hotel's location made it a perfect base for our two days in San Francisco:
but the Park Central is way past its prime. Not surprised it's been moved down a category but given how difficult SPG points are to accrue, the savings made our stay bearable.
